Los Angeles, CA (June 18, 2025) — A pedestrian suffered injuries after a horrific collision on San Pedro Street, where a black Jeep struck them during a police chase in South Los Angeles late Saturday evening.

According to authorities, Los Angeles Police Department officers were pursuing the Jeep westbound on Vernon Avenue near San Pedro Street at approximately 11:06 p.m. when the vehicle hit a pedestrian near the intersection of Vernon Avenue and Broadway.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to a nearby hospital for treatment. Officials have not released details regarding the severity of the injuries.
