Horrific Traffic Collision on Valley View Lane Injures 2 Teens [Farmers Branch, TX]

Farmers Branch, TX (April 18, 2025) On Wednesday evening, a frightening traffic collision on Valley View Lane left 2 teens injured.

According to the Farmers Branch Police Department, the disastrous crash happened around 5:18 p.m. in the 2600 block of Valley View Lane.

Police arrested a driver Wednesday evening after he struck two teenage boys riding an electric bicycle in Farmers Branch.

Officers arrived to find both teens injured and transported them to a local hospital for treatment.

Fire personnel provided initial medical aid at the scene. The electric bike was found lodged under the front of the driver’s vehicle, which had stopped about 20 feet from a crosswalk.

Witnesses reported that the vehicle failed to yield at the crosswalk, hitting the teens as they crossed. The adult male driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police.

Authorities charged him with Motor Vehicle Collision Involving Pedestrian or Other Vulnerable Road User Within Area of Crosswalk, along with an advanced charge for causing Serious Bodily Injury.

The Farmers Branch Accident Investigation Team continues to examine the incident.
