Spokane, WA (February 17, 2025) – 3 separate traffic collisions on Interstate 90 happened Sunday evening that prompted emergency crews to respond.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the crashes occurred on I-90 near Spokane International Airport leading to a temporary freeway closure.

The first crash happened around 7:55 p.m. on eastbound I-90 near exit 272. Just six minutes later, another collision took place westbound near exit 276. A third crash followed at approximately 8:30 p.m. near eastbound exit 271.

Washington State Patrol responded to the incidents and shut down I-90 in both directions between Four Lakes and Geiger for about 30 minutes while emergency crews assessed the situation and worked to clear the roadway.
