2 People Hurt in St Louis Auto Accident on Chouteau Avenue and Jefferson Avenue

ST LOUIS, MO (September 7, 2026) – On Sunday, a startling vehicle crash on Chouteau Avenue and Jefferson Avenue injured two people.

The incident happened at the intersection of Chouteau and Jefferson avenues.

According to reports, a vehicle failed to yield the right of way and collided with a police SUV with its emergency lights and siren activated, which was responding to a report of medics being held at gunpoint.

Moreover, responders transported an officer with moderate to serious injuries to a hospital for treatment. Also, authorities said another officer sustained minor injuries in the crash.
