17-Year-Old Boy Dies in Tragic Traffic Accident on West Melville Road

Four Lakes, WA (September 5, 2024) On Sunday morning, a 17-year-old boy was killed after a horrific traffic crash on Melville Road.

According to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, the fatal traffic accident happened on West Melville Road at about 8:30 p.m.

Reports say that the boy was a passenger in westbound vehicle that stopped on the side of the road, the driver of the vehicle had to check the tie-down straps on the vehicle.

Officials say that the teen got out of the vehicle and that is when a Jeep struck the victim. Officials pronounced the young man dead.

Authorities say that the driver of the Jeep stayed at the scene and attempted to help the victim.

Officials are investigating the tragic accident and have not released further details at this time.
