According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the traffic incident happened at about 1 p.m. north of Wesley Chapel Road.

Reports say that 2 teenagers from Fredericktown sustained injuries in the crash.

Authorities say that a 17-year-old girl was driving southbound when she veered off the road to avoid an oncoming vehicle. Her SUV struck a large tree stump after leaving the roadway.
