Borrego Springs, CA (March 23, 2024) On Friday evening, a horrific traffic crash on State Route 78 left a person dead and 6 others hurt.

According to Cal Fire San Diego, the deadly multi-vehicle crash happened at about 8:40 p.m. on State Route 78 near Borrego Springs Road.
