Tragic 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 2 Kills 2 Motorists [Snohomish County, WA]

Snohomish County, WA (January 1, 2025) On Tuesday morning, 2 people were declared dead after a horrific 2-vehicle crash on Highway 2.

According to the Snohomish County Fire District 4, the head-on crash on US 2 happened before 7:00 a.m. near milepost 6

Reports say that two drivers tragically lost their lives in a head-on collision on US 2 in Snohomish County early New Year’s Eve morning.

Authorities say that both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene, and no other injuries were reported.

The Washington State Patrol has launched an investigation to determine the cause of the collision. US 2 remained closed in both directions until shortly after 11:00 a.m.
