Tragic Collision on Indiana Avenue Kills Cyclist

Bicyclist Killed in Collision With Semi-Truck at Riverside Intersection

Riverside, CA (September 26, 2026) — On Thursday morning, a bicyclist died after a horrific collision on Indiana Avenue involving a tractor-trailer in Riverside.

The Riverside Police Department reported the crash at approximately 10:25 a.m., at Jefferson Street just south of the Riverside (91) Freeway. The semi-truck was turning east onto Indiana Avenue from northbound Jefferson Street when it collided with the bicyclist.

The truck driver stopped at the scene. Paramedics attempted lifesaving measures after arriving, but the bicyclist died at the scene. Authorities had not released the victim’s identity.
