Man Killed in Stockton Hit-and-Run Crash
Stockton, CA (July 31, 2026) — On Thursday morning, a man died after a hit-and-run crash on East MLK Boulevard in Stockton, authorities reported.
Police responded at approximately 7:00 a.m. to the area of East Martin Luther King Boulevard and South B Street after receiving reports of an unresponsive person lying along the roadside. First responders arrived and pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Preliminary findings indicate that a passing vehicle struck the victim and left the scene without stopping. Investigators continue to work to identify the driver and determine the circumstances surrounding the crash. The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
