Two People Killed in Fairfield Solo-Vehicle Crash

Fairfield, CA (August 10, 2026) — Two people died after a frightening crash on Neitzel Road where the vehicle they were traveling in crashed.

Fairfield police said both occupants died at the scene. Investigators from the department’s Major Accident Investigation Team are working to determine what caused the crash. Authorities have not yet released the victims’ identities.

Neitzel Road remains closed between the Highway 80 westbound off-ramp and Business Center Drive while the investigation continues.
