76-Year-Old Woman Killed in South Voss Road Collision in Houston

Houston, TX (September 26, 2025) — On Wednesday evening, a deadly crash on South Voss Road claimed the life of a 76-year-old woman.

Police reported that a black Land Rover SUV was heading south on South Voss when its driver attempted a left turn into a private drive. The vehicle struck a red Hyundai Accent traveling north, forcing the Hyundai off the road and into a tree.

Paramedics rushed the Hyundai’s passenger to a nearby hospital, where she later died from her injuries. Authorities have not yet released her identity pending notification of family.

The Land Rover driver stayed at the scene, cooperated with investigators, and showed no signs of impairment. Houston police confirmed the case remains under investigation.
