1 Person Dead in Grand Prairie Auto Accident on Interstate Highway 30 and MacArthur Boulevard

GRAND PRAIRIE, TX (March 24, 2025) – Sunday morning, a tragic DUI crash on Interstate Highway 30 and MacArthur Boulevard killed one person.

The incident happened around 5:05 a.m. on Interstate Highway 30 at MacArthur Boulevard.

According to the Grand Prairie Police Department, a Nissan passenger collided with a Dodge truck pulling a utility trailer and entering the emergency shoulder to stop and adjust towing straps.

Moreover, responders pronounced the passenger of the Nissan, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported the driver of the Nissan to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries while the driver of the Dodge was not hurt in the crash.

Furthermore, authorities arrested the driver of the Nissan who will be charged with Intoxication Manslaughter once released from medical treatment.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Grand Prairie Police Department continued investigating the crash.
