NIXA, MO (May 21, 2026) – Tuesday afternoon, a tragic head-on crash on Highway 14 near Delaware Town Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 12:20 p.m. on Highway 14 near Delaware Town Road.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, an SUV struck a car that hydroplaned and crossed the center line.

Moreover, officers confirmed that an 18-year-old passenger of the car died in the crash. Then, paramedics transported three people to a hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
