MESA, CO (July 21, 2026) – Monday morning, a tragic head-on crash on Interstate 70 near Colorado-Utah Border killed one person.

The incident happened on US Interstate 70 near the Colorado-Utah border.

According to reports, an eastbound Subaru Outback traveling in the westbound lanes collided head-on with a westbound Ford F150. Then, the force of the crash pushed the Outback to crash down an embankment.

Moreover, responders pronounced the female driver of the Outback dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported the driver and a passenger of the Ford, along with three other passengers, to a nearby hospital, all with serious injuries.
