BARSTOW, CA (August 14, 2024) – Tuesday morning, a tragic hit-and-run crash on Highway 247 near Bonanza Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 5:00 a.m. on northbound Highway 247, north of Bonanza Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle struck a pedestrian, and then fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, responders pronounced the male victim, dead at the scene.
