SAN ANTONIO, TX (September 24, 2025) – Sunday morning, a tragic hit-and-run crash on Texas Highway 16 near McCaughan Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 1:00 a.m. on Texas Highway 16 near McCaughan Road.

According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, a white 2018-2021 Toyota Tundra struck a male pedestrian and then fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, officers confirmed that the victim died in the crash.

Furthermore, officers said that the truck should have heavy damage to the front right side, specifically the passenger side, and is missing a part from the fender and right headlight.
