Man Killed, Woman and Infant Critically Hurt in Playa del Rey Hit-and-Run

Los Angeles, CA (May 5, 2025) — A deadly hit-and-run crash on Vista Del Mar in Playa del Rey early Sunday morning left one man dead and two others critically injured.

Emergency crews responded around 4:34 a.m. to the 6800 block of South Vista Del Mar. First responders found a man in his 30s at the scene and pronounced him dead.

Paramedics rushed a woman, also believed to be in her 30s, and a 1-year-old child to a hospital in critical condition.

Authorities said the crash involved two vehicles, but the driver of the second vehicle fled the scene. Investigators have not released further details as they continue searching for the suspect.
