Loomis, CA (August 16, 2026) — A man died following a tragic Loomis two-vehicle crash Saturday morning at the intersection of Sierra College Boulevard and King Road.

The Placer County Sheriff’s Office said the collision happened around 9:30 a.m. Emergency responders took the man to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Deputies continued investigating the crash for several hours. Authorities temporarily closed Sierra College Boulevard between Delmar Avenue and Bankhead Road and King Road between the same streets.
