MONTEREY COUNTY, CA (December 9, 2025) – Saturday night, a tragic pedestrian crash near Salinas Road and Lewis Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 11:34 p.m. near Salinas Road and Lewis Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a southbound Honda sedan struck a pedestrian who was walking in the roadway.

Moreover, responders pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
