1 Person Dead in Albuquerque Pedestrian Accident near Unser Boulevard and Spring Flower Road SW

ALBUQUERQUE, NM (July 10, 2025) – Monday morning, a tragic pedestrian crash near Unser Boulevard killed one person.

The incident happened near the intersection of Unser Boulevard and Spring Flower Road SW.

According to the Albuquerque Police Department, a southbound white Chrysler minivan struck a broken down black SUV and the father of the driver of the SUV who came to help with the vehicle.

Moreover, officers confirmed that the victim died in the crash.

Furthermore, authorities confirmed that the man was wearing reflective gear and the SUV had its flashers on when the incident occurred.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified. 

Due to limited information, the APD continued investigating the crash.
