1 Person Dead in Houston Pedestrian Accident on 6700 Fondren Road

HOUSTON, TX (June 3, 2026) – Monday night, a tragic pedestrian crash on 6700 Fondren Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 10:00 p.m. near 6700 Fondren Road.

According to reports, a northbound Infiniti struck an elderly woman who was crossing the street outside a marked crosswalk.

Moreover, responders pronounced the woman dead at the scene.

Furthermore, the female driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and was not suspected of impairment.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Houston Police Department continued investigating the crash.
