The incident happened at around 11:28 a.m. on Avenue 44 near Jackson Street.

According to reports, a Ford Focus struck a pedestrian for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders rushed the 86-year-old male pedestrian to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
