Mississippi County, MO (April 14, 2025) – A 46-year-old man from Oshkosh, WI was killed Sunday evening after a horrific pedestrian crash on I-57.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the shocking hit-and-run happened just before 8 p.m. on Interstate 57 northbound near the 2.2-mile marker.

Reports say that an unknown driver struck and killed the Oshkosh man.

Authorities say that the collision occurred just before 8 p.m., and the driver fled the scene.

Officials pronounced the man dead at the scene, and authorities have notified his next of kin.
