The incident happened at around 2:45 a.m. on the southbound Interstate 280 near Highway 87.

According to reports, a Toyota Corolla struck a pedestrian who walked into the roadway.

Moreover, responders rushed the female pedestrian to a nearby hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
