Tragic Pedestrian Crash on Interstate 70 Kills Woman

Woman Fatally Struck by Multiple Vehicles on I-70 in St. Louis

St. Louis, MO (October 03, 2025) — Early Thursday morning, a fatal pedestrian crash on Interstate 70 shut down part of the highway and left a woman dead.

Police said a woman was hit by several vehicles near Adelaide Avenue, and all of the drivers left the scene.

The incident happened around 6 a.m., prompting authorities to close the westbound lanes of I-70 for about two hours. All lanes reopened shortly after 8:30 a.m.

The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department continues to investigate the deadly hit-and-run.
