SAN JOSE, CA (August 27, 2023) – Thursday night, a tragic pedestrian crash on Landess Avenue and Morrill Avenue killed one person.

The incident happened at around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Landess Avenue and Morrill Avenue.

According to the San Jose Police Department, an eastbound 2007 Lexus sedan struck a male pedestrian who was crossing southbound in a marked crosswalk. Then, the Lexus driver remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.

Moreover, paramedics pronounced the victim, dead at the scene.

Furthermore, officers withheld the identity of the deceased, pending notification to the next of kin.
