Fresno, CA (August 18, 2025) — A pedestrian lost their life Sunday afternoon after a suspected DUI crash on Olive Avenue.

Police said the incident happened just after 3 p.m. at First Street and Olive Avenue.

Reports say that a driver swerved onto the sidewalk and struck the pedestrian.

Emergency responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Their identity has not yet been released.

Authorities arrested the driver, who now faces felony DUI charges.
