1 Person Dead in Plano Pedestrian Accident on Parkwood Boulevard and Legacy Drive

PLANO, TX (October 1, 2025) – Tuesday morning, a tragic pedestrian crash on Parkwood Boulevard and Legacy Drive killed one person.

The incident happened at around 8:00 a.m. on Parkwood Boulevard and Legacy Drive.

According to reports, a westbound gray Kia Niro attempted a left turn and struck an eastbound gray Ford Bronco. Then, the force of the crash pushed the Ford to roll over and struck two passengers.

Moreover, responders rushed the two pedestrians to a hospital, where one of the victims was later pronounced dead. The second pedestrian sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the crash.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
