DENVER, CO (December 10, 2025) – Sunday afternoon, a tragic pedestrian crash on South Oak Hill Way and East Smoky Hill Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 1:00 p.m. on South Oak Hill Way and East Smoky Hill Road.

According to the Aurora Police Department, a truck that was turning left at the intersection struck a female pedestrian who was crossing the roadway in a marked crosswalk.

Moreover, responders rushed the victim to a hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

Furthermore, the driver of the truck remained at the scene and was not suspected of impairment.
