CHANDLER, AZ (December 11, 2025) – Wednesday morning, a tragic rear-end crash on Loop 202 Freeway near Arizona Avenue killed one person.

The incident happened on the Loop 202 Freeway near Arizona Avenue.

According to reports, a vehicle rear-ended a second vehicle that was stopped after it struck a tire and rim that was in the middle of the freeway.

Moreover, responders transported both drivers to a hospital, where the driver of the stopped vehicle was later pronounced dead.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
