Tragic Rollover Accident on Interstate 37 Kills Woman [Atascosa County, TX]

Atascosa County, TX (January 6, 2025) On Saturday morning, a woman was killed, while 2 men were hurt and hospitalized after a tragic rollover accident on Interstate 37.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the fatal incident happened at about 11 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-37 near mile marker 107

Reports say that the tragic rollover crash claimed the life of a woman and left two men injured.

Authorities say that the accident occurred east of downtown Pleasanton and close to the Atascosa River.

Officials say that a pickup truck, believed to be a Chevrolet Silverado, rolled over and came to a stop on an unused railroad track off the interstate.

Emergency responders rushed the two injured men to a nearby hospital, but their conditions remain unclear.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by DPS and the Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office. While authorities work on the scene, northbound traffic on I-37 remains shut down for several hours.
