Tragic Rollover Crash on Route J near Lake Forest Drive Kills 1 [Lincoln County, MO]

1 Person Hurt in Lincoln County Auto Accident on Route J near Lake Forest Drive

LINCOLN COUNTY, MO (May 29, 2025) – Tuesday morning, a tragic rollover crash on Route J near Lake Forest Drive killed one person.

The incident happened at around 7:00 a.m. on Route J north of Lake Forest Drive.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2002 Nissan Sentra drove off the right side of the road for still unknown reasons. Then, the 18-year-old driver of the vehicle overcorrected, returned to the road, skidded, crossed the center line, and collided with a 2003 Buick LeSabre.

Moreover, authorities confirmed that the Buick rolled over onto its side after the collision.

Furthermore, responders rushed the 63-year-old driver of the Buick to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Then, paramedics transported the driver of the Nissan to a hospital with serious injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified. 

Due to limited information, the MSHP continued investigating the crash.
