2 People Dead in Fullerton Auto Accident near Orangethorpe Avenue and State College Boulevard

FULLERTON, CA (April 13, 2025) – Saturday morning, a tragic Tesla crash near Orangethorpe Avenue and State College Boulevard killed two people.

The incident happened at around 6:45 a.m. near Orangethorpe Avenue and State College Boulevard.

According to the Fullerton Police Department, an eastbound white Tesla ran a red light and struck a gray 1991 Toyota pickup truck and an Orange County Transit Authority bus.

Moreover, responders pronounced an adult female passenger of the Tesla, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported the driver of the Tesla to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Furthermore, authorities confirmed that five passengers riding the OCTA bus were transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.

Also, the driver of the Toyota pick-up and the OCTA bus remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
