One Killed, Several Injured in Wrong-Way Crash on County Road 102 Near Woodland

Woodland, CA (January 3, 2025) On Wednesday morning, a person was killed while another suffered serious injuries in a traffic crash on County Road 102.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the fatal collision happened near County Road 16 in Yolo County.

Reports say that a crash resulted in one death and several injuries early Wednesday morning. The collision occurred around 12:47 a.m.

CHP investigators revealed that a northbound vehicle veered into the wrong lane and collided head-on with a southbound van. The driver of the northbound vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. The van’s driver sustained major injuries and was transported to the hospital, while three other van occupants suffered minor injuries.
