APACHE JUNCTION, AZ (December 29, 2024) – Tuesday afternoon, a tragic two-vehicle crash near Apache Trail and Valley Drive killed one person.

The incident happened at around 4:20 p.m. near Apache Trail and Valley Drive.

According to reports, a police officer responding to a high-priority call for service, collided with another vehicle for unknown reasons.

Moreover, authorities confirmed that the driver of the other vehicle died in the crash. Then, paramedics transported the officer to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
