1 Person Dead in Ventura Auto Accident on Loma Vista Road and Victoria Avenue

VENTURA, CA (February 16, 2025) – Saturday afternoon, a tragic two-vehicle crash on Loma Vista Road and Victoria Avenue killed one person.

The incident happened at around 1:45 p.m. on Loma Vista Road and Victoria Avenue.

According to reports, an eastbound silver Lexus SUV clipped a northbound GMC pickup, pushing the truck to rollover. Then, the force of the crash pushed the SUV into the driveway of a home at Loma Vista and Madera Avenue.

Moreover, responders rushed two occupants of the SUV to a hospital with one of the patients suffering from potentially life-threatening injuries.

Furthermore, officers confirmed that one of the occupants of the SUV was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Meanwhile, authorities said that two occupants of the pickup did not suffer serious injuries in the incident.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Ventura Police Department continued investigating the crash.
