Firefighter Trent Pajer Injured in Motorcycle Crash on Fiddyment Road [Placer County, CA]

Placer County, CA (February 27, 2026) – CAL FIRE firefighter Trent Pajer, assigned to Colfax Fire Station 30, was injured in a motorcycle crash on Fiddyment Road late Friday afternoon.

It was before 6 p.m. on February 6 when the collision happened at the intersection with Sunset Boulevard.

Investigators said a Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling north when a Jeep turned left in front it.

As a result, the Jeep struck the motorcycle’s left side, throwing Pajer, who landed around 100 yards away.

Witnesses of the collision immediately stopped and rendered aid. They applied a tourniquet to control the bleeding on the victim’s seriously injured leg.

Officers said Pajer was off-duty when the collision happened.
