1 Dead in Tukwila Motorcycle Crash on Highway 599

 
TUKWILA, WA (August 1, 2020) – Wednesday night, 33-year-old Trung Vu died in a motorcycle accident on Highway 599.
 
According to reports, Trung Vu and his motorcycle crashed at around 9:42 p.m. on Highway 599 near East Marginal Way.
 
The WSP revealed that Trung H. Vu traveled on Highway 599 in a curve. Afterward, he lost control and the motorcycle landed in lane two. The impact threw off Trung Vu from his bike.
 
Meanwhile, a 23-year-old male Renton driver of a car hit Vu and the motorcycle. Due to this, the bike was pushed into the guardrail on the right shoulder. Afterward, the vehicle stopped in lane two. Unfortunately, the driver escaped the crash scene on foot. Eventually, he came back to the crash scene.
 
Trooper Rick Johnson confirmed that Trung Vu succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
 
Furthermore, the authorities identified speeding as the cause of the collision.
 
Moreover, troopers detained the Renton driver for investigation of DUI. Also, the authorities continue to investigate the crash.
