PASADENA, CA (July 2, 2019) – Paramedics transported two people to the hospital after a multi-car crash on southbound Highway 1 Tuesday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place just south of Salinas Road around 12:09 PM. Based on an initial report, three vehicles crashed in the pile-up. The parties identified as a white Chevrolet Malibu, a Kia, and a BMW. Debris from the crash was seen scattered in the roadway.
 
The paramedics arrived for needed medical attention. As a result, they transported two people, including a minor, to NMC for treatment of minor injuries.
 
It is not yet clear in what circumstance the pile-up occurred. However, an investigation is on-going.
