PERRY COUNTY, MO (June 14, 2026)— Two people suffered injuries in a crash on Route C Saturday night after a UTV overturned, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash ejected both the driver and passenger from the UTV.
Authorities said the driver, a 28-year-old man from Old Appleton, suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to a hospital. The passenger, a 26-year-old woman also from Old Appleton, sustained moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to the same hospital.
MSHP reported minor damage to the UTV.
The crash remains under investigation.
Injured in a UTV or off-road vehicle crash? Sweet Lawyers can help you understand your rights and recovery options.
UTV crashes can cause serious injuries, especially when occupants are ejected from the vehicle.
Even when a UTV sustains only minor damage, drivers and passengers may suffer severe trauma, including head injuries, spinal injuries, broken bones, internal injuries, road rash, and long-term pain.
For victims and families, the aftermath can be frightening and uncertain.
At Sweet Lawyers, we understand how overwhelming a serious crash can be. Victims may face emergency transport, air ambulance costs, hospitalization, follow-up care, rehabilitation, missed work, and emotional distress.
When injuries are serious, families may also have urgent questions about medical expenses, insurance coverage, and what caused the crash.
UTV and recreational vehicle accidents may involve several important factors. Investigators may review speed, roadway conditions, vehicle handling, safety equipment, mechanical issues, visibility, operator experience, passenger restraints, and whether another hazard contributed to the crash.
A careful review of the facts can help injured victims and their families better understand their options.
Sweet Lawyers handles personal injury cases involving UTV crashes, ATV accidents, vehicle rollovers, serious injury collisions, and recreational vehicle incidents.
