IMPERIAL COUNTY, CA (April 23, 2026)— A single-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 8 near the Dunaway Road off-ramp injured two people on Thursday afternoon.

The crash happened at about 2:24 p.m. when a minivan rolled over and came to rest on its side. Two people inside the vehicle suffered minor injuries.

Several drivers stopped to help after the rollover, causing traffic to back up in the area. 

Emergency crews responded and shut down the eastbound lanes while assisting the injured occupants and clearing the scene.

Traffic remained delayed for several hours as responders managed the crash site. Normal traffic flow resumed shortly after 5:00 p.m.
