Two Injured in Police Chase Crash on Main Street [Oakley, CA]

Oakley, CA (May 21, 2022) – On Thursday night, two people sustained injures in a police chase crash on Main Street.

According to the investigators, the Livermore Police alerted the authorities that a suspect vehicle connected with a Pittsburg armed robbery was located. They followed the vehicle to Tracy but lost sight of the vehicle.

Later on, the  CHP picked up the vehicle at Corrall Hallow Road and Interstate 580 which led them through Tracy down county roads.

The chase went through City of Oakley where the suspect vehicle collided at Main Street and Delta Road which resulted in two injuries.

Moreover, the suspect fled on foot and entered Brownstone Gardens where a wedding was happening. Then, he entered the parking lot where he tried to carjack a female.

Finally, the officers located the suspect hiding under a vehicle. They took the suspect into custody and they recovered a firearm inside his vehicle at the accident scene.
