2 People Hospitalized After Crash at McKinley Avenue and Clinton Way in Fresno

Fresno, CA (January 20, 2026) – Two passengers suffered injuries Tuesday evening after a red-light crash at McKinley Avenue and Clinton Way in Fresno, according to police.

Fresno Police officers responded to the scene just before 7:30 p.m. after receiving reports of a crash involving a passenger vehicle and a pickup truck.

Investigators determined that a car traveling eastbound on McKinley Avenue ran a red light and struck a pickup truck that was in the process of making a turn at the intersection.

Emergency medical personnel transported two individuals from the scene to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries. 

Authorities reported that neither drugs nor alcohol appeared to be contributing factors in the crash.

The incident remains under investigation.
