Teen Airlifted After Serious Rollover Crash on Jones Road in Pettis County
PETTIS COUNTY, MO (November 27, 2025) — A single-vehicle rollover crash on Jones Road on Thursday evening, just north of Patrick Road in La Monte, left three people injured, including two seriously, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 6:01 p.m. when an 18-year-old woman from La Monte, driving a Nissan SUV northbound, ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected multiple times, and overturned.
The SUV eventually landed on its side in the middle of the roadway.
A 16-year-old girl from Zillah, Washington, was ejected from the vehicle during the crash and was later airlifted to Research Hospital in Kansas City due to the severity of her injuries.
She was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
The driver also sustained serious injuries and was transported by EMS to a nearby hospital.
A 20-year-old male passenger suffered minor injuries and was not reported to be hospitalized.
The Nissan SUV was totaled in the incident, and the investigation remains ongoing.
Authorities emphasized that seatbelt use could have significantly impacted the outcome.
