Highlandville, Mo (May 23, 2025) – A UTV crash on White Ash Road seriously injured a 16-year-old passenger from Nixa on Thursday night, prompting emergency crews to airlift her to a hospital in Springfield.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the UTV began sliding while rounding a corner on White Ash Road, west of Highlandville. 

The vehicle overturned, partially ejecting the teenage passenger and trapping her underneath.

First responders transported the 16-year-old driver to the hospital with minor injuries.
