Flemington Woman Killed in Polk County Two-Vehicle Crash

Polk County, MO (August 21, 2025) – A 59-year-old woman from Flemington lost her life Monday evening in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 83, about two miles north of Rondo.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that the crash happened around 4:30 p.m. when a 62-year-old Flemington man driving a pickup truck failed to stop at a stop sign and struck an SUV.

The woman, a passenger in the SUV, died at the scene. Troopers said the pickup driver and the SUV’s driver, a 37-year-old Wheatland woman, both sustained serious injuries.

This marks the 79th fatality of the year for MSHP Troop D.
