Violent Two-Vehicle Crash on 7th Street Injures 3 Women [Phoenix, AZ]

Phoenix, AZ (October 12, 2025) — Three women were hospitalized Wednesday night following a two-vehicle crash on 7th Street.

According to Phoenix Fire, the incident happened at the intersection of 7th Street and McDowell Road around 8:30 p.m.

Emergency crews arrived at the scene and rescued two women trapped inside their vehicle.

Reports say that all three women were transported to a nearby hospital—two in critical condition and one in stable condition. A fourth woman was evaluated at the scene but declined further medical treatment.

Officials say that video footage show significant front-end damage to a white SUV and a dark-colored SUV that appeared to be struck on the driver’s side.

Phoenix police are investigating the circumstances that led to the crash. The intersection remained closed for several hours and reopened around 2:30 a.m. Thursday.
