4 People Hurt in Clinton County Auto Accident on Northbound Interstate 35

CLINTON COUNTY, MO (February 19, 2025) – Monday morning, a disastrous two-vehicle crash on northbound Interstate 35 injured 4 people.

The incident happened at around 10:30 a.m. on northbound Interstate 35.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a southbound pickup truck lost control of the ice and snow-covered roadway. Then, the vehicle crossed the median and collided with a northbound SUV. Also, the force of the crash pushed the SUV to crash into a guardrail.

Moreover, responders rushed the 78-year-old female driver of the SUV and her 85-year-old male passenger to Liberty Hospital with serious injuries. Then, responders transported the 74-year-old male driver of the pickup with minor injuries and his 65-year-old female passenger with moderate injuries to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Missouri State Highway Patrol continued investigating the crash.
