Tyler Vestal Arrested in E 42nd Street DUI Crash [Odessa, TX]

Odessa, TX (April 18, 2025) – The authorities arrested 32-year-old Tyler Vestal in a E 42nd Street DUI crash Friday.

OPD officers said Tyler Vestal was driving a maroon Ford F-250 east in the 400 block area when he changed lanes and struck another vehicle. 

That caused a chain reaction wherein two other vehicles were also hit. 

The medical team rushed four people to Medical Center Hospital. 

One of the patients was a seven-year-old girl who was airlifted to Lubbock with serious injuries. The other three patients sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators determined that Vestal was intoxicated during the collision. They arrested him for intoxication assault and booked him to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center. 

His bond was set at $15,000 and he bailed out on Saturday.
